World Code Class ("we," "us," "our") is operated by the Wilson family. Our website is worldcodeclass.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website, desktop application, and workshop services.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

• Account information: Your email address when you sign up or purchase a workshop.
• Payment information: Payments are processed by Square. We do not store your credit card details. We receive your name, email, and transaction confirmation from Square.
• Usage data: Basic interaction data within the student app, such as course progress and questions asked to the AI teaching assistant.
• AI assistant conversations: Questions you ask the in-app TA are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. These conversations are not stored permanently and are not used to train AI models.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

• To provide access to workshops, course materials, and recordings.
• To send you login links and essential account communications.
• To power the in-app AI teaching assistant.
• To track your course progress within the app.
• To process payments and manage enrollments.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, and hosting.
• Square: Payment processing.
• Anthropic: AI teaching assistant (Claude).
• YouTube: Live stream delivery during workshops.

DATA SECURITY

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase Authentication, and secure payment processing through Square. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

DATA RETENTION

We retain your account and enrollment information for as long as you have access to our courses. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

YOUR RIGHTS
