ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using World Code Class ("we," "us," "our") — including our website at worldcodeclass.com, desktop application, and workshop services — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

World Code Class provides live coding workshops, recorded course materials, a desktop student application with an integrated terminal and AI teaching assistant, and related educational content. Services may change or be updated at any time.

ACCOUNTS & ACCESS

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account and access purchased workshops.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • Access to courses is granted to the individual who purchased the workshop. Sharing login credentials or course materials with others is not permitted.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

PURCHASES & REFUNDS

  • Workshop purchases are processed securely through Square.
  • All sales are final. Due to the nature of live workshops, we generally do not offer refunds after a session has been delivered.
  • If you are unable to attend a live session, you will retain access to the course recording and materials.
  • If you experience technical issues that prevent you from attending, please contact us and we will work to find a resolution.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • All course content, materials, recordings, and the student application are owned by World Code Class.
  • You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the materials for your own learning.
  • You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly share course recordings, materials, or application software.
  • Code you write during workshops is yours to keep and use freely.

AI TEACHING ASSISTANT

  • The in-app AI teaching assistant is provided as a learning aid and may not always produce accurate or complete answers.
  • Conversations with the AI assistant are processed by Anthropic's API and are subject to Anthropic's usage policies.
  • Do not share sensitive personal information, passwords, or API keys through the AI assistant.

ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the student application.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the services, servers, or networks connected to our platform.
  • Share your account access with others or use another person's account.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI teaching assistant will always provide accurate information.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, World Code Class shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific workshop in question.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page.
